Liat Ron
Director, Producer, Writer
Liat Ron is a filmmaker, performer, writer and a mother of two whose work explores empowerment, self-expression, and transformation. Fear and Now is her directorial debut—the first film to highlight the profound impact of HypnoBirthing on pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond. As an actor, Liat has performed in numerous plays, musicals, and independent films. Among her NYC theater credits is GUTS, her critically acclaimed autobiographical solo show, which she wrote and executive produced. A professionally trained Middle Eastern dancer, she developed an innovative teaching method that empowers women of all ages and backgrounds, using movement as a gateway to confidence, strength, and self-liberation. Liat is also a writer and co-founder of Techealthiest, a website she created with her husband, psychologist Dr. Greg Kushnick. The site provides real-world strategies for navigating health and well-being in an age dominated by technology. Currently, Liat is in the early stages of development on her next documentary, Healthy is the New Sick, which takes a deep dive into our wellness culture and its effects on our health, body image, and sense of self. Across all her creative and professional endeavors, Liat is committed to challenging cultural norms, sparking change, and breaking boundaries. Her work empowers individuals to reconnect with their true selves, reshaping narratives around wellness, identity, and empowerment, while encouraging deeper personal and societal transformation.

Shachar Langlev
Cinematographer/Producer
Shachar Langlev is a director and cinematographer whose films have screened around the country including at the Sundance Film Festival and the Brooklyn Academy of Music. He was the director of photography on ALIVE INSIDE, which won the Audience Award at Sundance and was released in theaters nation-wide. Shachar directed and produced a series of high-profile short documentary films featuring notable subjects such as Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, President Joe Biden, Secretary of State Colin Powell, Gloria Steinem, and Bryan Stevenson. Most recently, Shachar was the cinematographer on SOUL ON FIRE, a feature film about Nobel Peace Prize recipient, Elie Wiesel; the film premiered at the Hamptons International Film Festival. He is the cinematographer on a feature documentary currently in production, LET NO ONE LOSE HEART, which is supported by the Robert Redford Foundation and the Ford Foundation. Shachar is also the director of photography on an upcoming fiction film, now in post, featuring Patrick Wilson, Margaret Cho, and Molly Ringwald, among others. The feature is based on the short film Shachar shot— the award winning, Oscar qualifying, Vimeo staff pick, RUN AMOK. Shachar is an adjunct professor at City College and Brooklyn College in New York where he teaches in the undergrad and master departments cinematography and production.

Véronique N. Doumbé

Born in France, Véronique N. Doumbé was raised in Cameroon, France and Ivory Coast. She wears multiple hats as editor, director and producer. She works in fiction and documentary. She enjoys collaborating with filmmakers from across the globe. She is a co-founder of the Paris based Collectif des Cinéastes Non Alignées (CCNA), a member of the Barcelona Documentary Club (BncDoclub), the Documentary Association of Europe (DAE). She serves on the Steering Committee of The Anti- Racism TaskForce for European Film (ARTEF). She also a member of Film Fatales, The D-word, Brown Girls Doc Mafia (BGDM), and the Black Documentary Collective (BDC). Véronique N. Doumbé served on the Board of Directors of New York Women in Film and Television (NYWIFT-Membership, 2009-2012). He has edited documentary content for Bon Appétit, GQ, Wired, Vanity Fair, MTV, IBM, NY1, Toyota, Bloomberg, Teach for America, JetBlue, and the United Nations, with over 100 million views across the digital platforms. His feature documentary credits feature “Valiant” by Cruz Angeles; and his recent work includes the award-winning digital series for CNBC, “The Next Normal”

Lucas Lechowski
Composer
Lucas Lechowski’s musical journey began at the age of four, when he first picked up the violin as a classical musician. He went on to graduate from the prestigious Katowice Conservatory in Poland, earning a Master's degree in Jazz Violin Performance, a Bachelor's degree in Classical Violin Performance, and an additional Master's degree in Jazz Guitar Performance. After completing his studies, Lechowski embarked on tours across Europe and the United States, performing with symphony orchestras and various ensembles, where he showcased his versatile talents across classical, jazz, blues, and other genres. Lechowski has composed over 50 scores for a diverse range of projects, including feature films, TV shows, documentaries, and theater productions. His notable works include The Performance (starring Jeremy Piven, directed by Shira Piven), the ESPN/ABC miniseries Full Court Press (directed by Kristen Lappas), and a two-hour NBC special Where Were You, hosted by Tom Brokaw, commemorating the 50th anniversary of President Kennedy’s death (directed by Harry Moses). He has also composed music for Virtual Reality experiences, such as In the Cloud, an immersive project for Sony, and for commercial brands like Dolby, Adobe, and Ikea. His scores for short films have earned two Student Academy Award nominations, with one win. Lechowski has released several solo albums of original music, and his compositions have been featured in various compilations, including the classical series Millennial Masters. He was also commissioned to create music for a permanent modern art installation at the Baltimore Museum of Art. Lechowski is a Fellow of the Sundance Institute Composers Lab and a Berlinale Talents alumnus. He has been selected for prestigious film scoring workshops, including the ASCAP/Columbia University Film Scoring Workshop, the NYU/ASCAP Television & Film Scoring Workshop, and the Society of Composers and Lyricists Mentorship Program. Now based in Los Angeles, California, Lechowski draws inspiration from the waves—both the audible waves that create sound and the rhythmic waves of the ocean, which he enjoys exploring on his surfboard.
